Stuck in State College
State College becomes something else entirely when students head home for spring break, Borough Council President Elizabeth Goreham said.
While students staying in State College for spring break will have the chance to see Oscar winner The Reader at the State Theatre, Mike Negra said he wishes more would be able to attend.

If you're even a moderate movie fan, Penn State alumna Marion Dougherty says you've probably seen a film she worked on.
Penn State alumna and People magazine film critic Leah Rozen sees five to 10 movies a week, and at that rate, not every film she sees is Oscar-quality, she said.
With three of this year's Best Picture Oscar contenders having been adapted from books, Penn State film professors said adaptations are most successful when they strike a balance between originality and sticking to source material.
